During the winter I want to come home to a hot and ready meal. I use my slow cooker a lot and I got an Instant Pot for Christmas that I can't wait to use! In addition to providing gentle chiropractic treatment, I also help clients better understand the nutrition their body needs for optimal performance. This includes both food and supplements.
I also love to eat! I chose to share some of these recipes for meals that will fill you up and make you feel all warm and cuddly. Of course, they are on the healthier side!
Easy Crock Pot Chicken Cacciatore-I love this recipe because it is so filling and so easy. I serve it over spaghetti noodles.
Instant Pot Mexican Stuffed Sweet Potatoes-I love buffalo chicken! Serving it on sweet potatoes with guacamole is such a good combo. This recipe will warm you right up and is chock full of nutrition.
Biscuit topped chicken potpie- I love chicken pot pie but it can be a little calorie dense with all of the crust. This one you make the filling and top it with biscuits so you still get the texture and flavor of crust but in a healthier portion size. This is my favorite biscuit recipe to use for weekend breakfast, too.
Paleo Crock Pot Pot Roast-Nothing says warm winter meal like pot roast! This recipe fits the Paleo diet and is easy to make.
Paleo Jalapeno Popper Chicken Chili-this beanless recipe can be done in the slow or pressure cooker, whichever you prefer!
What other recipes are you enjoying this winter? I’d love to learn more!
