The initial visit includes a thorough history, an exam, and scans of your spine and nervous system. The first visit cost is $120. Follow up adjustments are $50.

I am in-network with BlueCross BlueShield and Ambetter. Your rates will be determined by your plans.

Your first appointment begins with you completing the paperwork prior to your appointment so I can best understand what your concerns are and your overall health. Once you arrive at the office I will take a thorough history of your health. I will perform range of motion and orthopedic tests to see how will your body is moving. I will use state of the art technology to scan your spine to determine how well your nervous system is functioning. In most cases I do not adjust on the first visit. This allows me time to fully study your health and nervous system scans so I can give you the best recommendation for care.

Your second appointment we will sit down together to cover your scans and health history. I will give you my recommendations for care and the estimated cost. If you are ready to begin, you will receive your first adjustment on this visit.

Your adjustment schedule will be determined by your individual situation. Receiving one adjustment is similar to going to the gym once and expecting to become fit. Chiropractic care is an investment in your health. I usually start patients on a plan of 2-3 times per week for 2-3 months. If you are looking for a quick fix our office is not the right fit for you.

​​​​​​​Chiropractic is the practice of caring for the spine and the nervous system. As a chiropractor, I use my hands and sometimes a small instrument to correct the vertebral subluxation, which is a misalignment of a spinal bone(s).

Anyone with a spine can benefit from chiropractic care at some point in their life. You don’t have to wait until you’re in pain before seeking chiropractic care. In fact, it’s better to start before you develop problems that are hard to fix.

Chiropractic is the safest of the healing professions. Chiropractors have the lowest malpractice insurance rates of any of the major health professions because our care is safe and effective. We are trained to know when to adjust and when not to adjust. We are taught how to work with people with every conceivable health condition.

People often come to me thinking that back and neck pain are the only things that can be fixed by chiropractic care. Not true! Think of it this way. Your spine and nervous system control every part of your body. So, helping improve the health of your nervous system and spine can improve function throughout your body. This includes digestion, concentration, blood flow, sleep patterns, and the overall function of your various organs.

Subluxation is a misalignment of a spinal bone or bones. This misalignment causes dysfunction of the nerves that exit the spine and control the rest of the body.

Subluxations are caused by three things: mental stress, physical stress, and chemical stress.

When a bone of the spine becomes misaligned, it reduces the brain's ability to communicate with the rest of the body. This can show up as many different symptoms.

Subluxation is fixed with a series of spinal adjustments, which is what defines chiropractic care. An adjustment is key to removing subluxations. Once I find the misalignment using palpation and instrumentation, I place my hand on the area and use a quick gentle thrust to specifically move the misaligned spinal bone back into its proper position. In some cases, using instruments to manipulate the spine is deemed safer and more effective. I make those decisions based on each person’s individual situation. No two spines are alike so no two adjustments will be alike.

The most commonly accepted explanation is the "pop" sound is the result of nitrogen bubbles that are produced from the synovial fluid cavitating as the joint is moved. However, the "pop" sound is irrelevant - you can be adjusted without hearing a pop. Or, just because something popped, doesn't necessarily mean the subluxation was corrected.
